Reservations are required -- call today to book a Saturday or Sunday hike to the upper cliff dwelling at Tonto National Monument near Roosevelt Lake.
The three mile (4.8 km) roundtrip trail takes most visitors 3-4 hours. The trail will be open Saturdays and Sundays starting Feb. 7 and continuing through May, and tours will start at 10:00 a.m. on those weekend days when the trail is open. Call Tonto National Monument staff 928-467-2241, to make a reservation. 

The monument's museum and visitor center are open 8 am-4 pm year-round, and the trail to the lower cliff dwelling does not require reservations, though visitors must begin that one-mile roundtrip hike before 3 pm.
