HISTORY
Built in 1910 and locally famous as the 'Tallest Three Story Building in the World,' the historic Globe Elks building also once housed the Jones Mortuary-Funeral Home --- and is becoming a favorite destination on the paranormal investigation circuit.
Upper floors were used by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, while the downstairs/basement area was used by two separate mortuary/funeral businesses where bodies were prepared, and services were held -- in fact, the old embalming table is still in the basement.

AZ Ghost Adventures gained access to investigate this building in 2022, since then reporting activity such as:
"a spirit named Jim in the morgue/basement area that perhaps is a previous owner/mortician,
the spirit of a woman named Eleanor who we encountered in the administrative room,
and an angry spirit that resides in the upstairs Elks Meeting room (where only men were allowed).
This spirit was strong enough to slam a door!"
