Workshops - Free Dinner, Too!
University of Arizona Cooperative Extension invites adult parents, or caregiver, who have a teen between the ages of 12 and 18 to sign up for the next "Family Talks: Money Edition" financial management series, which resumes Feb. 3 and includes free dinner and childcare on Tuesday and Thursday evenings weekly during February.

These forums help adults and teens build skills to manage their finances together, strengthen communication around difficult topics, and set financial goals for the future. Participating "family units" must include at least one adult parent or caregiver and one teen between the ages of 12 and 18. Eight sessions, total, are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. (dinner starts at 5:30), with the first on Feb. 3. Locations if the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension office at 5515 South Apache Avenue in Central Heights.
