Join the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts for the Opening Reception of the Desert Art Show during First Friday in downtown Globe. This special evening celebrates local artists and the beauty of the desert through a variety of artwork including photography, painting, ceramics, mosaics, fiber art, sculpture, and more. Guests are invited to enjoy the exhibit, meet artists, and experience the creative talent of our community. The Desert Art Show will remain on display April 3–30, giving visitors the opportunity to view and purchase artwork throughout the month. Many pieces will be available for sale, with 70% of proceeds going to the artist and 30% supporting the Arts Center. The exhibit highlights desert-inspired themes such as weather, landscapes, and the iconic poppies of our region.
