Miami Hosts Arizona Traveling
Museum March 22
With dozens of stops criss-crossing Arizona during February and March, the Arizona Traveling Museum comes to Miami's Bullion Plaza Cultural Center March 22.
The mobile history exhibition is slated to visit all 15 counties,
kicking-off the statewide tour in Prescott on Arizona Statehood Day, Feb. 14.
The Arizona Traveling Museum brings history, heritage and storytelling directly to cities, towns, and rural communities from Nogales to Page, and stops in between. Centerpiece of the traveling museum is a replica of the Liberty Bell, one of a limited number located across the country. The bell, which typically resides at the Arizona State Capitol, will travel aboard the museum as a powerful symbol of freedom, independence, and civic responsibility – offering visitors across the state a rare opportunity to experience this iconic representation of America’s founding ideals up close.
Admission is free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of Banner Health, APS, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, SRP, Freeport McMoran and other sponsors.
