Copper 101 presents the colorful story of mining in the Globe-Miami District from the earliest silver boom through the advent of modern-day copper extraction and processing.

Along the way we will be taking a look at how our most valuable copper minerals were formed, and the technological advances that created “ore” out of what was once considered worthless rock.

Second Friday programs are always free to the public, although donations to offset our costs is greatly appreciated.
